See What’s New In Trimble Connect

Trimble Connect is an online collaboration environment that allows everyone involved in a construction project to know what’s happening, and what should be done next.  Whether you’re an owner, architect, a general contractor, or a sub contractor, Trimble Connect allows the entire project team to see the big picture, right down to the smaller detail. As part of the ongoing process to improve Trimble Connect, several new enhancements and features have been added, for both the web and desktop versions of Connect.

Trimble Connect On The Web

• Add attachments or hyperlink to a location on the web to any BIM Object in a model.
• Search results show location path (breadcrumbs) for easier navigation
• ToDo items now have a  “Download Attachment” option
• ToDo listing visibility settings: Set ToDo visible only to creator, admin and assignee
• Ability to edit multiple ToDo items at once
• Company Administration: Manage company profile and users

Trimble Connect Desktop 1.4 Update

• Point cloud visualization support for .las and .laz formats (Beta)
• Access file and model versions from Desktop
• New fields have been added to a ToDo: Title, Type, Tags and Completion percentage for BCF 2.0 Support
• Model tree and attribute data support for Revit models
• Ability to attach clip plane perpendicular to a line and create vertical clip planes. This is useful for horizontal models like roadways etc.
